Are you a talented photographer with your own camera looking for a chance to practice your craft, give back to your community, and build your portfolio? We are seeking volunteer photographers to capture moments at United Way programs and/or events in multiple counties across West TN (mainly in Madison County).
This role is perfect for:
- High school or college students looking to expand their photography portfolio
- Amateur or professional photographers who want to gain real-world experience
- Individuals with a passion for storytelling through images
Responsibilities:
- Attend and photograph events hosted by United Way of West TN
- Capture high-quality images of participants, volunteers, and activities
- Edit and deliver photographs for promotional use on social media, newsletters, and our website
- Collaborate with our team to ensure photography aligns with our mission and messaging
Requirements:
- Own and operate a personal camera (DSLR, mirrorless, or professional-grade camera preferred)
- Basic photography and editing skills
- Ability to commit to scheduled events (flexible, but must communicate availability)
- Creativity, reliability, and professionalism
