Back-of-Kitchen Volunteer

Description

Assist restaurant staff with basic food preparation, kitchen organization, and cleanup to help keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with basic food preparation and portioning
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Keep kitchen work areas clean and organized
  • Restock supplies as needed
  • Assist kitchen staff with basic tasks
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Help with cleanup at the end of shifts

Ideal Volunteer: Dependable, willing to learn, comfortable working on their feet, and able to follow instructions in a busy kitchen environment. Training will be provided.

PLEASE NOTE: Not eligible for Court Mandated hours or Workmen's Compensation hours.
