Volunteer Cashier

Assist with basic front-of-house operations by running the restaurant’s cash register system. Responsibilities include greeting customers, entering orders, processing cash and card payments, providing receipts, and ensuring transactions are handled accurately and courteously.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the cash register/POS system
• Take customer orders and process payments
• Handle cash accurately and provide change
• Answer basic customer questions
• Keep the register area clean and organized
• Provide friendly and welcoming customer service

Ideal Volunteer: Friendly, dependable, comfortable using a basic computer or cash register, and able to work well with customers and staff. Training will be provided.

PLEASE NOTE: Not eligible for Court Mandated hours or Workmen's Compensation hours.
