The WOW Wagon Operator is responsible for operating the WOW (Words on Wheels) Wagon, a mobile book trailer designed to equip individuals in our community with books. The operator will travel to various locations, setting up and assisting with book distribution.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Inspect the WOW Wagon to ensure function and readiness
2. Hitch WOW Wagon to vehicle safely and securely to and from event locations.
2. Station and dismantle the WOW Wagon at event sites, ensuring all equipment and materials are properly secured.
3. Assist with book distribution from the WOW Wagon, engaging participants of all ages and backgrounds.
4. Collaborate with event authorities to properly operate the WOW Wagon.
5. Report general inventory of supplies, equipment, and promotional materials for the WOW Wagon.
6. Provide excellent customer service to participants, addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.
7. Keep accurate records of event attendance, feedback, and expenses related to WOW Wagon operations.
Insurance Requirements:
1. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
2. Auto insurance covering the operation of the WOW Wagon.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in event coordination, outreach, or community engagement preferred.
2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings as needed
